There was a lyrical magic in the in the jazz melodies of the
1930’s and 40’s. Great song writers such as Cole Porter, George and Ira Gershwin, and Rogers and Hart were combining beautiful stories with masterfully shaped melodies to create what became known as the golden age
of jazz.
Van Paepeghem’s embrace this uniquely American art form but goes beyond as you and your guests experience over a half century of classic jazz melodies. Joyful and sultry are words to describe the bands featured vocalist, Shirley Van Paepeghem. Shirley’s silky vocals combined with the bands magnetic stage presence and supurb musicianship breathe new life into classic hits such as All The Things You Are, Route 66, Autumn Leaves, and At Last.
