2007 Sangiovese
Located on the Roza near Prosser, Washington in the Yakima Valley, the Kestrel Vineyard is meticulously maintained by Charles Smasne, vineyard manager for Kestrel Vineyards. The grape is one of the last to be harvested every year and this is what helps it to maintain the bright flavors. This is one of the tastiest grapes there are off the vine.
This is truly a classic Tuscan Chianti with bright flavors of cherry and a hint of leather and earth tones. Enjoy this wine with pasta, roasted meats, and comfort food. (171 cases)
