WINE OF THE MONTH – 2022 CHARDONNAY – JUNE 2024

Our 2022 Chardonnay represents Chardonnay fruit from Gamache (51%), Coyote Canyon (27%), and Bacchus (22%) vineyards. The Chardonnay was fermented in both stainless steel and oak barrels, resulting in well-integrated, but not intrusive oak notes. The 2022 vintage is bright and very approachable. Apple blossom and winter melon aromas lead to flavors of D’Anjou pear, lemongrass, vanilla cream, and an elegant minerality. This Chardonnay pairs nicely with triple cream or nutty cheeses, lobster rolls, and pasta primavera.
