May Artist of the Month- Capasso

Capasso is an accomplished oil painter whose primary body of work acknowledges rust and relic Americana. These large oil pieces are nostalgic for the rich American dream. Capasso’s talent is extensive as he departs Americana and travels toward romantic Tuscan landscape paintings. He further broadens perspective through abstract images and color explorations.  Capasso’s upbringing in a mid-western town, global travel, and current residence in Sandpoint, Idaho reflect his complexity in inspiration.
