2019 Cabernet Sauvignon
The 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon brings out Lilac and chocolate aromas, along with hints of cherry, black plum, dark raspberry fruit flavors and a touch of richness with balsam woodiness, and a balanced tannin structure. Sophisticated, but very drinkable wine.
The 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon pairs well with mushroom dishes infused with rosemary, steak with blue cheese, or even a casual burger.
2019 Cabernet Franc
The 2019 Cabernet Franc is a blend of 76% Cabernet Franc grapes from Weinbau Vineyards (Columbia Valley/Wahluke Slope AVA),12% Cabernet Franc grapes from Coyote Canyon Vineyard (Horseheaven Hills AVA), 6% Merlot grapes from Wells Vineyard, and 6% Petit Verdot grapes from Dionysus vineyard. The Weinbau Vineyard is represented by the savory and fruit characters of the wine, while Coyote Canyon contributes spice notes and a lush mid-palate. The Merlot and Petit Verdot round out the finish of the Cabernet Franc .
Fruity notes such as fruit leather, pomegranate, and cranberry, with rich espresso, and savory flavors such as black pepper, and arugula. Mid-tannin, and subtle hints of oak.
Cabernet Franc complements roasted duck, grilled chicken, sausage and hard cheeses.
Our 2019 Merlot consists of a blend of Bacchus Vineyard, Coyote Canyon Vineyard and Wells Vineyard fruits. Each of the three vineyards contributes depth and flavor to this wine. Red apple aromas, cigar box/tobacco hints with cardamom, blackberry, espresso bean, brown sugar flavors all hit the palette giving this Merlot great body and flavor.
The Syrah introduces itself with aromas of Farmer’s Market strawberries, violets, and wet stone. The Syrah is knitted together with brightness of rhubarb, black plums and raspberries balanced with subtle white pepper, maple syrup, grape Jolly Rancher, cinnamon, and tarragon.
Pairs well with roasted meats, pork, pasta, and wild mushroom dishes.
